La navette impériale (nom complet et correct : navette T-4a de classe Lambda) est un vaisseau spatial polyvalent de l'univers Star Wars. Elle est apparue pour la première fois sur l'écran de cinéma dans le film de 1983 "Star Wars : Le retour du Jedi" (épisode VI). On suppose que les unités de ce type mesurent environ 20 m de long et que leur équipage est généralement composé de deux membres. Ils peuvent également prendre jusqu'à 20 passagers ou une charge d'environ 80 tonnes. Ils ont aussi un hyperdrive. Les unités de la navette impériale étaient principalement utilisées par l'Empire galactique pour transporter des stormtroopers, mais aussi pour transporter des personnalités très importantes (par exemple : l'empereur Palpatine ou Lord Vader) et des officiers militaires de haut rang. À la base, il était conceptuellement basé sur les unités de transport de classe Nu utilisées par les troupes de la République pendant la guerre des clones. Au fil du temps, les navires Lambda ont inspiré le développement des navires de transport Epsilon du Premier Ordre.
